Anyone else gonna be a loner for New Year's Eve?

I'll be home alone tonight too, but I really don't mind at all. I've been sick for about a week and I was supposed to go to a friends house tonight for some festivities, but I decided not to go. I'm very content with just popping in a movie and falling asleep on the couch tonight. I might make myself a cranberry and gingerale spritzer with rasperries and I'm going to hope for no ambulance calls.

Everyone be safe tonight! Don't drink and drive!

DH is working. I'm gonna straighten the house a bit. May or may not go to bed early. Just another day.

Im home with the puppies. Even if I had somewhere I really wanted to go, I wouldnt because a. All the loonies are out tonight and b. theres fireworks going all around me, and I have 3 concerned shelties wound as tightly around my feet as they can get. So I need to stay home.

Just me and DS here I practically had to force my sister to go out and party with friends (she needs it trust me)

Actually I started taking down and packing up the Christmas decorations, I want to organize the house but the holiday stuff must get put away before anything else can really get done. I am at least half way done with the inside, the outside will have to wait until the snow melts

and DH is sleeping in his chair already... As soon as this man eats he needs a nap i swear he is a toddler

so ds and I are watching movies

I'm enjoying a quiet night at home - not so unusual, but don't consider myself alone - two dogs, 3 cats (all of which prefer to be on my person at once), and 8 chickens

I'm hoping the animals let me sleep in a little tomorrow - 7:30 would be heavenly.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy New Year, and a peaceful and properous 2010!

I just put my Parrot to bed. We had a long evening together. I had a LONG day of chores as it was a fairly decent day.

Down here, the winter months do not hit until January, then they hit hard.

The mama cat is pregnant and I have had to spend time and money for her shelter. Last year we used a dog crate but the babies kept squeezing through the bars, LOL. This year we bought an igloo type house from a second hand store. She should be good with this as we will block the entrance so only she can get out.

Every one is gone visiting. I HATE road trips, so here I am.

I Prepared the nursery for the winter months and THANK GOD I do not have to use the heater this year.

I am bracing for a very cold winter, they all say it is going to be nasty.
