Anyone else gonna be a loner for New Year's Eve?

We usually have a BIG family get together but since DH won't be off work until 7pm there;s really no sence in driving 2 more hours to be with everybody just to turn around and drive back a little later. So we are taking DD to Pizza Hut (HER favorite) then going to load up on fireworks and having our own little blast.

DH will be here, and I'm sure we'll be asleep before midnight. Don't feel bad. I was alone on most of Christmas day eating leftovers.

Yep home alone hubby at work. He might get off early time will tell. He works 5pm to 330am.

DH has to go to work in the am and will be hitting the bed around 10pm if he can drag himself away from the football games. (we love college sports) I told him I would come in at midnight and kiss him on the forehead. He'll sleep through it but at least I'll be with the one I love at the start of 2010.

I live in Redneck-ville!! They start drinking and shooting off shotgun to celebrate the new year. I think they start with new years in Japan!!!

Okay friend,,,,,get in your car and get up here!!!! I doubt I'll make it to stay awake until midnight.....I woke up at 4:00 am and was serenaded by about 10 roosters outside my bedroom window....... I think they were saying....We love you Momma, please don't sell us Momma!!!!!! Yikes those bad boys....

But seriously you would think with our selling about some roosters this week,,,,,they would be quiet but they were hugely loud! I seriously believe that all the loose ones in the yard were under the window and the new geese started laying and were having some sort of kanipshin fit right outside too!

But on a serious note, you are welcome to come up.

I've spent many a holiday night alone back and other nites alone when DH was a restaurant manager and back when I travelled for a living.....

Yup. It's just me. And the dogs and the cats and the ferret and the silkie babies in the brooder...

I treated myself to a bowl of Panera's broccoli cheddar soup. I may have some Ben and Jerry's later and call it a night. Sigh.

The mother took the kids sledding and DH is out plowing this wonderful New England white stuff...so yup just me the dogs and you all.
