I am sorry you didn't get SQ Silkie eggs. With all the trouble you have it doesn't look like an isolated issue. I had one hatch out with a missing toe. Everything else is correct about them. I think we have traced it back to a parent bird who was supposed to be all pure and looks it. Her other offspring were normal, but then a few hatched with a missing toe nail on the 5th toe and then this last batch one had 4 toes! It was a shock! But with genetics, things can be far back in the genetic line and only pops up at some time down the line. It is unfortunate, but if there is only one issue and it's only recently popping up, I would say it's possible it was a new line they were not as familiar with as they thought. But... with having different color skin and missing toes, it seems like a bigger problem. You can still keep them for broody chickens and eggs or sell them as pet quality chickens. They are still quite adorable and are gentle chickens. They do make wonderful pets for people.
I would contact the person you got your eggs from because they need to be aware of what is going on. There is the off chance that their hatches have been fine up to this point and that a new chicken or two has thrown things off. They might even offer you some replacement eggs.
