Anyone else have eggs hatching today?

I'm not giving up till I need the bator for the next batch of eggs. They were put in on the 4th.

i have four duck eggs pipped. tues is lockdown. i just moved them to the bottom hatch trey. they were not suposed to hatch until fri. temp has been solid 99.5 humidity has been 60 perecent. do duckies hatch early? anyone know

I have 44 eggs in hatcher. tuesday evening will be 21 days, I have 3 pipped. but don't seem to be in any rush to keep going.Hang in there --and see how everything comes out.

My last four are still not doing a thing. Its going on day 23.

This morning, I too had no new hatches from my 9...day 23. I went ahead and candled one and found it completely clear.

I should have candled earlier, but my hen has a habit of abandoning clutches of eggs at the drop of a hat, so I left her alone all through the brooding. I should have known. My rooster favored the hen whose egg DID hatch, and the broody was too quick for him...

I learned my lesson....CANDLE the EGGS~

I went ahead and took her off the nest and candled the rest.....all clear....Opened a couple up...all yolk....Do I feel dumb!
Poor hen would have sat there forever.

Once I got the broody off of her nest, she really had to poop! She's content now taking care of the one chick.

I named the chick "Keezie" a mix of her mom "Kiwi" and the nice hen who hatched him/her "Suzie". Thought Keezie was better than "Suzuki".

Well, its good that the ones that didn't hatch weren't fertile, at least you didn't lose any chicks. I candled mine at day 18 and they all seemed developed. That's why I'm so confused as to why three would hatch and four have not?

If the rest don't hatch, I've got some more I'd like to set in my incubator today or tomorrow.
