Ugh. Think I do (been laid up all day, that's why I am posting all over BYC today!). If I can't breath better tomorrow, DH is taking me to the docs first thing. Especially after reading your post. Yup, really dizzy, cough, runny nose, chest hurting and panting, ache all over, can't sleep, fever vs. chills, nausea and poopies, sore throat...
I have asthma so have to watch out. Glad to hear it is bad for only a few days. The guys just brought me a bottle ofginger ale and a dvd to play on my laptop. I'm in isolation in the bedroom, hoping no one else gets it.

After five hours - the Saturday doc office was packed - confirmed I just have "a virus" but not "the flu". Me thinks after all that time in the crowded waiting room full of nasty sick people, if I don't get the flu after this I just might be immune. Bed rest, drink plenty of fluids, blah, blah, blah. If I'm still having trouble Mon or Tues, I'll go see the regular doc. And not wait 5 hours to do so, either.

Flu ,bug, its still yucky. Im pretty much all better now. I still have a nasty cough but otherwise im Great ! hope everyone feels better!!

it hasnt hit here yet but I am feeling a bit yucky - dont know if its just the heat and the smoke in the air or if I am gettting something.
But the kids start school Sept 7 soooo... usually 2 weeks after that it hits in this house.

I started feeling the sore throat Sunday night and was down for the count Monday. It got REALLY bad that night and the next day. Started feeling better Wed. but then the 6 year old started going south. I was feeling much better Wed. and the 6 year old was getting worse. The 3 year old started getting it too. Yesterday morning the 6 year old threw up (usually she does with colds because of all the mucus) and today the three of us are on the mend (mostly) but now my wife has it.

Whatever virus we have it is super easy to spread and hits hard, but seems to be pretty short. I knew we shouldn't have been cuddling with swine last week.
