Anyone else have this "problem"?

I, too, am a serious victim of this "problem", "illness", "sickness".

I am chicken-addicted. This may be the Egg-1-N-1 flu.

To my knowledge, there is no cure. It seems to get worse with time, and requires a constant application of money for it's symptoms.
Money for eggs, money for chicks, money for feed, money for coops.

Robin'sBrood :

You are soooooo not alone! I have a neighbor whose daughter has outgrown her cute little wood playhouse and I keep envisioning myself asking how much she'll take for that coop, er, I mean, playhouse.

I have been coveting the playhouse down the road for months! I don't have the nerve to ask about it. The last time I spoke to the lady was 11 years ago - when my 6 yr. old boy bullied hers.

I am hopeless: I saw a toybox at the store & thought "nest box." There is no cure!

Sounds very familiar. I talked my DF into getting three little pullets when we lived in Seattle with neighbors all around. Three turned into five. By that time, I'd found us a place out of the city with acreage and convinced him we really needed to leave the city and those thumpin stereos behind. Not to mention all the caterwauling drunks walking past our house night after night.

So, now we're on 5 acres and I can have as many chickens as I can afford to feed. Everywhere I go, I see things that could be put to use building new chicken coops. Good to know I'm not alone in this fixation. I guess I'm not the only one who salivates at the sight of a lumber yard eh?
