Anyone else just now starting to "line dry" their clothes outside?

I've been line drying on and off for years, but I recently picked up this trick to dry clothes wrinkle free that don't wrinkle in the dryer - like tshirts - but come out stiff and wrinkled line dried. Maybe out in the wind would solve that, but I dry mostly indoors due to pollen and such. Toss selected clothes in the dryer for a mere 10 minutes, then hang on the line, and nobody complains about stiffness or wrinkles.

I also hang stuff on hangers to save line space, fold and put in the drawers when dry.

Some time I will put in a big post with a hook up high so I can run a line in the sunshine. Right now its a series of hooks in the screen porch (line and clothespins go in a basket), and two (not enough) folding wooden racks for little things. I have myself and 3 other adults; guess I'd better get busy since 2 more are coming for the summer.

I should have been using my line for a while now, but we were doing yardwork that put too much dust in the air. I will be starting in the next week or so since we are almost done with that particular work (plenty more to do though!).

Oh, thanks for reminding me! I try to do that, weather permitting, during the spring, summer and fall. I think I'll do that this weekend!

Just waiting on DH to put up a clothes line for me.

Well, we moved in here July 2003, so maybe 7 years is my lucky number and I'll get that clothes line this year??

I just put load number five out just now. I used mine on the few days that I could this winter and have been complaining the whole time about having to use the dryer. I supersized my line last year and can get 7 loads of laundry on it at one time, 7 loads!!!! I love being able to do all our clothes in half a day, when it takes me 3 days in the winter waiting on the dryer.

I tried to today - but the wind is blowing 25 to 40 MPH and I spent 15 mnutes picking my clean laundry out of the field. Gotta love Nebraska (I must need some better clothespins).
