it's not so bad today....yet!

But yesterday, you could actually hear it coming and you had better been under something, or you were soaked. it came that fast and left the same way. i thought it was that low pressure circling over the coast that was doing it...

they're calling for rain today, but later.

Same here - rain for the next week. We're going to the Pirate Game tomorrow and we're scheduled for Thunderstorms. Only good thing is that the evenings are supposed to cool a little. And our electric bill will go down if we don't have to run the AC as much

i have filled up all six of my rainbarrels and now hope for a dry spell so i can use 'em!!
FYI-if you use rainbarrels for watering plants or gardens, you can drop one of two feeder goldfish into your barrel to help control the algea...it really does work!! when someone told me this last spring, i laughed and said no-way. i tried it and sure enough - it worked.

it is rather depressing! I know a family who is taking a vacation in Cancun Mex soon , their children asked why the were going to a hot place for a vacation. Well one reason, the prices are fantastic right now, but even more important they have sun!
