Anyone else not a fan of Christmas music?

I love christmas music.. But only for like the week before christmas and christmas day. Any more is just over kill.

OMG You "had" to type that (Santa baby). I had that stuck in my head yesterday. Now it'll be back. I hate, loath, detest, despise that song! I detest Mary Did You Know with just about the same level of passion! Those two just punch my

Now, Feliz Navidad? I can listen to that one every day of the season. Chipmunks don't bother me, though they aren't my choice for what to listen to. I even have a CD of Christmas music that's all chicken noises...love that one (and everyone else here hates it, mwahaha).

I love White Christmas, though!

Not a fan of Christmas music. I usually listen to a local radio's morning show, but from now until Christmas, I'll just listen to random CDs most likely.

I don't mind if a symphony orchastra does the classics, I try to keep an ear out for the Waitresses "Christmas Wrap"? and that's about it . I do sorta like Madonna's "Santa Baby", go figure. Also Manhiem Steamroller drives me up a wall.

Can't stand it. I do like a little Gary Hoey. I hate seeing holiday stuff going up after Holloween.

Had some girls from Austria we were hosting for 3 wks....... took them shopping last week...... and they commented on the horrible christmas music being played at the mall. (It was some god awful stuff too - they had to have it on an hour loop...... it was bad!)

I don't like anything related to Christmas. It is so far removed from what the holiday is actually supposed to be about. And the Christmas music playing in stores starting in October is beyond annoying. Nothing but a commercial mecca to entice people to spend $$$ that they don't have. I find it very sad to be quite honest. I'm glad that I quit celebrating it years ago.

I hate country stars who sing this stuff and rock stars who change the beat. I hate "blue christmas" and depressive songs. I also hate people who want to ruin the holiday for others. I refuse to let commercialism ruin it for me. Thanks to my computer I can burn my own CD's and choose what I want both in Christmas and Christian music, some of which is garbage.

Christmas is about Christ and His birth is a good thing.

Hope at least some have a Merry Christmas.

I like when I want to listen to it. My radio has been changed searching for something other than Christmas music so much that it automatically changes the station when a Christmas song comes on.

The contemporary Christian station that I listen to plays 100% Christmas music from Thanksgiving until Christmas.. I love it.

Of course it's not all Jingle Bells and Here Comes Santa Claus either ..
