Anyone else not like The White House on The Hill?

I feel bad for their rabbit. It's in a teeny tiny cage with a heatlamp in summer. And a pet for a little kid. I've only watched one of their videos but was disappointed in that first one and I knew I couldn't do much about so I didn't watch more. Though I did watch one a year or two where they stole a wild baby rabbit from its nest. Does only visit the nest twice a day to protect them from predators. The rabbits were fine until they took one. Then they started shoving milk down its throat nearly drowning it. It's been a while since I've watched but based off what they've done I'm sure there were plenty of other thing they did wrong. I'm not sure it lived.

I like watching their hatching videos. I agree, it wrong to have little kids chase chickens. The chickens usually look happy otherwise, unless they die. I don't know much about Emus, but I'd assume its bad to have a giant creature in a slippery pool. Quite a few of their methods aren't great, like introducing chickens at night. I'm subscribed, but I don't obsess over it.

I think, as a channel with kids, they should be showing how to be respectful of the animals to teach other kids how to behave around them. That's up to the parents to be sure they understand. For so many young kids watching and probably idolizing them, they'll probably act the same.

I read the thread and wanted to offer my 2 cents on the chasing birds points:
We got our birds as adult hens, and 2 months ago, they were terrified of me and everyone. I have never had to chase them, and I can now pick 3/4 of them up without chasing them or them panicking. the one that I can't yet pick up is my leghorn, and that's not because I couldn't pick her up, but because she is very skittish and I don't think that we're at that point yet. I think that birds will run if they've learned that they will be chased.

I have mixed feelings about PETA. Yes, they save animals, but I dislike their idea of "an animal is better off dead than in a bad situation" and how they literally steal animals from fairs and things
PETA is not at all concerned about the welfare of animals. They are concerned about the welfare of their bank account and the animals are just a means to that end. Their largest expenditure is legal fees for their members when they get caught doing something illegal, and possibly criminal.
