Anyone else NOT sleeping??

Well, it's 10:30am and I am still going strong. I can't slow down now...I got the bees, got them fed and settled.. Honeybees in the am are sooo wonderful.. They weren't even mad after a 30min. drive --I think it was the sugar water I fed them!

Now, I have to get going got lots to do... I have got some Benadryl on the way home so, this won't happen again.. To night I am going to sleep...one way or the other. I just hope I am don't get my second wind about bed time...QB

Reading a book puts me to sleep at night.

And watching a movie in the dark will make me feel a little tired. Also, try drinking a glass of juice. This may help maybe with some people i think.

Good luck and good night!

Personally, if I am trying to stay awake for something, then I will fall asleep almost immediately.

Sometimes if I take off a few layers I sleep better. Also, reading a book that you don't like (I recommend the Principia, or the dictionary, or if you have any school textbooks lying around. DO NOT read anything you are interested in.
Turn off the lights. turn off any electronics. Turn off crowing roosters.
Tell yourself stories. Try to picture them and make them into a major motion picture! Sometimes that one is too entertaining though.
Anyway, I'm bored, so I just made a list of things I do to fall asleep.
Smile, and remember: No matter how mean or dumb or evil, nobody makes it out alive!

Melatonin works really too. It relaxes you, not really puts you to sleep, but helps you to relax to that point. Its not harmful or habit forming. Sometimes, instead of having to use something over a long period of time, you just need to get into a schedule and stick to it to make you want to sleep. I am the type that goes to sleep right off the bat, but wake me up and I am up for hours trying to go back to sleep. Very stressful and annoying. Hope you find your "cure", and a good multi-vitamin from a reputable health food store might help you too. You are a BUSY girl, and will get run down if you aren't careful!!!!

This happens to me now that I'm middle-aged. It's especially when my dog has to go out at 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning, and I can't get back to sleep. Wish I had some advice!

It was the only thing that allowed me to sleep for three weeks last summer when my DH was in the hospital.

Well, I was awake from 6 am Friday to 8pm Sat... I was on over drive.. Not even one bit sleepy.. At about 7:30 last night dd asked--'how are you doing' and I said I exhausted but ok..Well, it hit me about 30min. later and I said--I am gone.. I don't even remember laying down.. Went to sleep and woke up at 2am--back to sleep with in two minutes and the alarm went off at 6 this morning and I was still sleeping soundly...

I was ready to take some meds IF I couldn't sleep..but I sure didn't have that problem..
