Anyone else struggling with Infertility?

I'm struggling with trying to conceive. It has been two years for me and I finally had the courage to share my story on my blog. I am not infertile though and the only test result that came back bad our doctor said wasn't really that much of an issue for us to worry about because although it wasn't ideal it shouldn't stop us from conceiving... doesn't really help when I'm trying and not concieving though.

I'm happy to see that you are a mommy now OP!

Well I hope you conceive soon, Nayeli! I hope that we will both soon have healthy, beautiful babies. And it's so hard to be told to wait when it's a month after month disappointment.
Yeah, I saw the DR. for it the first time like 8 months ago and we had been trying for a long time then and he wanted us to wait longer before we saw a specialist. I veteod that! They did some prelimb tests and got negative results on one but the dr is still saying wait a year or two before any more tests.

I saw the doctor in August and September. I've always had problems with my cycle, but she always just wanted to put me on the pill. So now that we had been ttc for a year and a half she ran some tests, had a tv ultrasound, and I was dx with PCOS. So I'm supposed to go back soon to discuss clomid. She won't put me on metformin because she doesn't want to risk dropping my sugar, because I have no problems with insulin resistance. So I don't know what to do, really. My insurance doesn't cover anything to do with infertility, and it's expensive!

I'm sorry! I wonder if there are other reasons to go on clomid that would be covered by your insurance?

I'm not sure. Clomid itself I don't believe is expensive, but if they have to do more blood tests and ultrasounds that's where it starts to get expensive. We will see! Maybe we will be surprised and get pregnant before I go back.
That would be awesome!

No, he was pretty dismissive and just said wait another year or two and if we aren't pregnant we will go from there.

Have you been checked for a tilted womb? I'm no doctor, but I know a lady and nothing was wrong with her numbers, but the dr doing her IUI didn't realize until her 2nd or 3rd round that she had a tilted womb. And that's the only reason why she wasn't conceiving with IUI. And it corrected after she had her first baby. Something to think about.
