anyone else's eggs hatching 9th august??

my 9 eggs are supposed to hatch on the 9th.. 6 days left! i need to share my excitement with someone!!

Right now, I have 10 BBS Ameraucanas and 2 backyard mixes. Can't wait till lockdown!

eeeeek! it's so exciting

is it your first hatch? ooh nice! mine are going to be proper mongrels! they're all crossed with a vorwerk so i have no idea what they are going to look like!

oh well it will just add to the excitement!! btw, are yours going into lockdown on the 5th, 6th or 7th? :S im not sure when to put them in..

This is my 4th hatch. I wasn't supposed to incubate anymore this year

, but couldn't resist some Ameraucana eggs from a very nice BYC member who lives closeby. I've been trying to get some blue egg layers, but keep getting roosters. I'm really hoping for some hens this time!

I'm going into lockdown Saturday, the 6th, at around 11 pm. I had set mine 7/15 at 11 pm. When did you set yours?

Ooh okay, you're more experienced then me then! This is my first hatch :S haha I'm hoping to put another batch of eggs in the next day

Really? You had no hens at all? :| I hope that doesn't happen to me!

Okay! Well I set mine on the 19th at 2pm :S is your incubation time different then? :S

Oh and I'm down to 8 eggs now, one of them must have been an early quitter or not fertilised. There isn't any veins or anything so.. But the others have pretty much filled up the egg now!

I'm only 9 hours behind you, so we're pretty close. I expect hatchday to be Tuesday the 9th, but they'll likely start pipping on the evening of the 8th. Can't wait!

I'm waiting for 6 eggs to arrive next week.....tufted, rumpless aracaunas. I'm trying to get some blue eggs, too. Good luck......let us know how your hatch turns out!
