Hahaa, cool! Keep us updated on what they turn out to be!I have some barnyard mix chicks that should be hatching this Saturday. All my chickens are hatchery chickens but we have such a crazy mix of Frizzles, Cochins, Tophats, easter eggers, old English , and the list just goes on.... There is no telling what in the world is going to hatch out. This should be interesting...![]()
I will, this is our first time hatching out chicks. I am as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. LolHahaa, cool! Keep us updated on what they turn out to be!![]()
Good luck! You will love seeing them hatch, it's brilliant!I will, this is our first time hatching out chicks. I am as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Lol
She won't get up after the first has hatched. As long as the rest are still viable, then she will stay and wait for them to hatch. Good luck!Should they all look like that? Only one has it's beak in the open spot like that. Will she try to get up after that one hatches or will she hang out with the rest for a while? I would hats for her to get up before the others hatch. She is hunkered down in there and she growled at me and tried to remove a chunk from my hand when I tried to look at her eggs. Lol
