Anyone ever crossed a golden retriever with a chocolate lab?

They'll be 'Goldadors' They're a designer breed. I will post pictures if she has puppies... I don't even know if she's pregnant
Are you intentionally breeding this 'designer breed'?
I hope you are a responsible individual.

We actually got the male and female goldens so they could breed. The female golden just had a litter of 9 yesterday.. I had the lab before I got these two.. Is there really any harm in letting the lab have puppies? They will have shots and worming and I will find them good homes...

I wish I lived closer,I would love to have one! They are gonna be beautiful pups. Much less likely to have hip or elbow issues than pure labs

As long as they are vaccinated and wormed, then no :)
I actually respect you for that. There are a lot of people out there who breed for the money and don't care for the puppies.

WOW rough thread.....

I myself have 3 crossbreed dogs. I met the parents. I am happy mine were not mill pups.
Could mine be called designer dogs????? Possibly.
I have a pit husky aka pitsky, a german wire hair pointer/weimaraner (german wired weimaraner??) and an Airedale/black and tan coon hound......no clever name there. :hmm

I have had other crosses over the years.

I think we do a disservice to BYC to jump all over the OP because they have intact dogs.

My Shep/lab cross would love a buddy! He's a rescued shelter dog,and grateful for every little thing you do. My last dog was a purebred Dane. All my dogs get fixed, etc. And live great lives.

OMGoodness! The angle makes his tootsies look so tiny.
:love That face!

My pitsky. She is a super sweet love bug.

Wow I was not expecting that backlash. Okay.

I'm not 'jumping on them' for having intact dogs. I'm asking questions because I can.

I don't personally believe that people should be contributing to the overpopulation of dogs and cats, but to each their own.

That said, I do have two purebred female Huskies purchased intact from a breeder and I have zero regrets.

She looks so smart! You can almost see the wheels turning! His feet are very small, especially compared to my sweet Dane dog. She was twice his size. Sadly giant breeds dont live real long. They would have been besties, and she would have shown him the ropes better than I could!
