We hunt and eat a lot of red meat, and I need an upright freezer to accompany the chest freezer that is full. My husband barely was able to pack the deer meat from his buck in there, after going through it and removing some stuff. I'm gonna need to put some turkeys in there soon.Whoa. You could hide a couple of bodies in there. That's like the one that was in this house when I moved here. We downsized pretty quickly to a 4-foot model. That's the one I just replaced with a frost-free upright. We don't hunt or eat red meat so didn't need all that space.
GMTA?*X3. I just wasn't gonna be the first to say it.

No, of course I can't! (I learned that from Ridgerunner, tee-hee!) But she has a pretty good history that-a-way, so I'm hoping! And if not, no worries, we've hand-raised many a time before. (She's co-parented twice before for me, and she's a great mom, effective but sensible, protective but also low-key.)Can you guarantee she will be broody at the time to adopt chicks? If she isn’t broody she won’t accept them.
Chickens have a code they live by, listen carefully. If you want them to do something, they won't. And if you don't want them to do something, they will. If you want them to live, they are fragile and die if you look at them wrong. If you don't give a hoot about them, they will survive a nuclear apocalypse.GMTA?*

ETA: *GMTA = Great Minds Think Alike.
That’s facts right there. I stopped naming my chickens and stopped locking them in a coop and they act like they didn’t even need those things in the first place! It’s like my neighbor said about his chickens (kept in the most un-Fort Knox coop I have seen in person) “you can’t hardly kill ‘em!”If you want them to live, they are fragile and die if you look at them wrong.
Has to be friends of the family getting insider info. If they don't want it they let their friends know. An so on.Oh and anything else I may have been interested in apparently they liked more than I did and the prices showed that.
