Anyone ever hatch a double yolker??

I haven't. I'd be too afraid of losing one of the chicks. I do have some huge single yolk eggs I plan to incubate. I don't think that is recommended either,but I don't know why.

I tried but they were too riddled with blood veins and had not fully absorbed the yolk.....

Awww sorry to hear that. I wonder if we just opened the top of the egg if it would help, the big end. My hens haven't laid any double yolkers for ages. Way before I got my bator. So, I guess I'm outta luck.
