anyone ever have a egg bound hen survive? ***updated***

sometimes soft and squishy, sometimes hard

she is not doing well again and I soaked her again tonight and placed her on the washer again, so may have more eggs. When I feel inside her vent I do not feel egg shells, rather egg shaped items but they feel like they are surrounded by membrane...does anyone know why?

My hen is obviously distressed. She is standing just like a penguin...she seemed better after passing one egg but I think she has more in there. Any more suggestions would be greatly received!!

I had a silkie get eggbound 3 times back to back. That was about 4 months ago. I massaged her in a warm bath twice a day, and put mineral oil in her vent. Put her in a dark cool closet. After that all of her eggs were soft shelled, but I haven't seen any soft ones in about a month and a half, and she now broody again for the first time. So, I think she is going to be okay.
