Anyone ever heard of ACN, Inc.?

If you google ACN, Inc lots of hits calling it a pyramid scheme or they are selling outdated technology.

We joined over a year ago.
Daughter had friends that tried to make it do. My daughter is a real go getter and wanted to spend more time with her family.
We worked our selves silly and now all she says is she's sorry for getting so many people to sign up.
I love the video phone. I sold 0 of them. People use the web to do the same thing. They didn't care that it was as nice as it was, but the monthly bill?
I haven't used mine in a year and still have a year on my contract.
We all spent money like crazy to make sure we had enough points, enough partners. Groups of 60 got us No partners just expenses.
Never mind cause I did like the company, but didn't work for the 40+ that gave it all they could and couldn't get a check. Some including me lost our houses and my daughter is still trying to hold on to hers even with the great job she has.
There was a plus for my daughter though. First time she has had tha much money to write off for taxes for failed business. Oh and we all tried to wriite off the services and products, but they didn't qualify.
Some people DO make it, but most do not. I just knew we would make it, but now all we can show for it is lots of DVDs and Magazines.

They don't sell products to even BE outdated. The only product they sell is that video phone. I am wondering if it is worth because the services they offer include Verizon, DirecTV, etc., and services most people here use. Personally, I am not knocking myself out over it and I really wish Ken wouldn't either, but he seems to be sold on just getting a few people under him who sign others up for the services. It can't be a complete scam, because the services are valid companies..... Wolftracks, that sucks! I am gonna make Ken read this after a couple months go by and no check is in the mail.

Debi, go to Ripoffreport.com and check out ACN, Inc. The people say it's a scam and explain in detail just why. I wouldn't get involved with it, perhaps if Ken researches it a little better he will change his mind.

I am looking for MUCH more solid reports than one per year on that site. I am VERY skeptical, cautious, etc. I am looking for more than one report in one year to back up my feelings.

PLEASE< PLEASE, get him to run away now!! This is just like FHTM. The only reason they sell any product is because they would legally be called pyramid scam if they didnt have an actual product to sell. PLease dont make the same mistake I did, and many others. If you have to pay a big amount to join, or have to pay re-acuring monthly fees, its a scam. Thats how the guys at the top stay at the top. Check to see how long this company has been around- most likely, if its been a long time, the market is saturated and if its new, the gov. just hasnt nailed them yet. Look at it cynically, try to see all the faults, and dont buy into all the hype and uptalk- they want to keep you pumped so they can keep pumping your wallet. If these companies were legit, everyone would be doing it- but then no one would make any money cuz everyone already would be doing it and there would be no fresh blood to bring in for the big join in fee. They make soooo much money off recurring charges, and you make squat (like maybe 3%?) The biggest kicker that proves they are BS? Lokk up every discount and coupon they offer 'members'- then compare them to sites you google for free, all the stuff is already available online without joining- ie;coupons, discounted amusment park tickets, airfare, shopping,... its all already available to you for free, just look for it, you dont need to join to get all the wonderful cr*p they offer along with your joining.

Ask yourself how your gonna feel constantly hounding friends and family to join, or asking them to sign up for your services. Its not fun! And the actual pay is usually very obscure. Just how much do you really make off all those "commissions'? I garuntee you its almost nothing, and just try to nail your upline down to a number- it wont happen. All you will hear is how you should just sign others up, basically, bulid your own pyramid. Just how many people do you know? Dont most of them know each other? Wont your new signers want to get people too? FROM WHERE? Trust me, you will run out of prospects sooooooo fast, you will damage friendships when they lose money, and you will be left holding an empty bag. It all sounds so good, and you will constantly hear stories of how 'so and so' made tons of money, or how 'some famous/rich/celebrity" just joined, but you never meet them, or hear about it anywhere else. They never want to give the real details, but are FABULOUS at telling you what you want to hear, innudate you with 'postive thinking' DVD's, magazines, webinars, and emails. Alot of people call it brainwashing. I could go on and on- what they tell you and what the realities are, are VERY different things.

I will admit, some people have made money, but those people are few and far between. They made $ off their friends and families and they made it when the business was new. Its a seriously tough business, it takes alot of time and money, the failure rate is around 98%, and nobody wants their friends and family to start avoiding them just so they dont have to hear your desperate pitch again. And once you run out of people you know, just how the heck do you find new ones? Your downlines arent gonaa give em to you, they need the money, your uplines WILL NOT give you leads, they need the money just as much as you. It is not a warm and fuzzy business, its about $$$'s, and no one is gonna give you a sure thing if they think they can have it themselves (thats how they got $ in the first place)

Sorry I went all ranty on you, its just I hate to see anyone get nailed by these kind of companies, the economy is in the tank right now, please save your money.
