Anyone ever make their own curtains?

The last set I made I used the large grommets for curtains, they worked very well, and much easier to open and close then the rod pocket.

I've made curtains for our house and I'll make some more for the porch next winter.

I make all our curtains (except one stunning pair I found at Goodwill super cheap!) I always line them, even if it is only with a sheet to keep the costs down - that helps keep them from fading (and me from having to make more too soon LOL).
