Oh my - I just checked into dry ice and it has to be classified as a "dangerous goods" commodity. Thanks for the idea but I don't think that will work
They did say we have to use the gel packs and I'm ok with that. My problem is figuring out how to package the eggs. I did find a site that carries the foam for duck/turkey eggs, but it's expensive and I honestly don't know if restaurants would be willing to unpack or unwrap (if we wrapped them individually); wonder if they just want to pull the egg carton out of the box and put it in the fridge
