When I went to the coop this morning I checked up on Chili and found 2 baby chicks under her!!!!!!!!

They're the cutest things that you've ever seen!!!

One is a BSL and the other is one of my EE x RIR. I accidently an EE X RIR egg under Chili when I thought it was one of my BR eggs. It's so cute. I'm hoping that Peeps chick is a pullet because I can't keep more than 1 rooster.

I love baby chicks.

I just took my second egg out of the incubator. I candled it and there was no movement, and on day 21 it was peeping but stopped. I'm debating whether to crack it open...

I have one loan fuzz butt in here cheeping. I feel sorry for it, with no friends!

I just put 18 more eggs in my incubator.

all 16 of our duck eggs are hatched. A 100% hatch on our 1st attempt with an LG still air. about half way through incubation I bought a real thermometer with humidity reading and saw we were way off. So most hatched on day 30 instead of day 28, but not bad! Still have the double yolked egg to go. It has about 3 days left ( I think). Not too hopeful, but still

This could be exciting in the next couple of days. OMG, these little fuzzy butts are so cute!

But how are we going to decide which ones not to keep?

I'm about to give up on my 3rd egg.

We have had 100% hatches until this one. But mama is extremely happy with her 2 fuzzys!!!
