i have two ducklings with curled toes that I was not able to catch until they were 7 days old. I have made shoes using moleskin and figure they will lose the adhesive about the time shoes should come off which I’m thinking is about 7 days or I can takes them off with olive oil ? Is 7 days long enough or too long. Also it was recommended I make a sling for them but how long do they need to be in sling , 7 days also?

Any input will be greatly appreciated

Can you show us what you have put on their feet? usually once their toes are in proper alignment they straighten out but being it was 7 days before you could catch them Not sure if it will work or not but hopefully it will. Are they able to walk?

I had a little runt with a curled up foot. I gave her B Complex and made her a shoe and now you would never even know. I tried several different things but for me and her tiny little foot I used pipecleaner, painters tape and a waterproof band-aid. Now you would never even know

The shoe and b complex are both very important. You can pick up the Liquid b complex st TSC in the cattle dept it will say injectable but just peel the foil and use a dropper to pull out 1 ml for each duckling put the liquid over something very tasty like some peas or meal worms or what ever they love as a treat. Those shoes look great. Yours too @quackiemama

I cut moleskin to shape , I let them swim with it and it peeled off easily

But now the one with one good leg is holding the good leg straight out behind Himself . I’m not having luck so far with slings . I made two but little beasts got out of them both
Will get pictures and send tomorrow.
