Anyone feed kombucha to chickens?

I have read a little bit about fermented feed and the benefits of raw apple cider vinegar, so would kombucha give the chickens the same benefits? I make my own kombucha and drink it daily and have wondered about giving some to the girls. Should it just be added to the feed or give them their own water container of it?
Any ideas?

I'm not really sure what it is all about. The kombucha takes quite a while to develop all the good bacteria and the mother etc. The post i looked at about fermented feed said to soak the feed for 48hrs, is that long enough to develop a fermentation?

I am not sure, wondering if it is the same as other fermented foods

I had heard that chickens would eat the extra scoby that you were going to throw away, but my last batch of chickens wouldn't eat it.

I don't think mine would either, they are kind of picky. Did you ever put some liquid in their water or feed?

Now, but I might try it with the youngins I have now, when get a little older.

I would offer it separately and give them just fresh water without anything else in it.

This just seems very strange to me, just give a wholesome well balanced feed, free range a bit if you can and call it good. I don't know why you would ever give any sort of liquor to a chicken.
