I have a 4 month old Peacock and a 5 month old peachick I would like to sell or trade. They are from same pair so not a breeding pair. I would like to add 2 more hens to my flock. These were my first successful hatches out of many tries. Their feet have never touched to ground and are beginning to outgrow there pen. Very healthy and lively.

Not the best picture since they don't like my camera, but the one in back appears to be male as he is getting color on neck and chest. He also had a sudden growth spurt in last few weeks and is as large the female.

I am in Spartanburg SC, about 2 hours from you but I would not trade my females for males. Males are easy to come by but peahens are difficult.
Your best bet is to sell them and try to find peahens for sale.

Yes, selling is the best solution. If you know anyone interested in either please let me know. They are pretty birds.

If I had room for another IB hen I would get her from you but the IB boys are so common around here. Most people are complaining they are only selling for $40. There is no way I would sell one of my IB boys for $40!

I wish I could keep mine. The Peacock was so cute after hatching. We named him chirps-a-lot because every time we walked out of sight he made so much noise. I just really want to prevent any inbreeding.
