Anyone get Easter Egger's from Meyers Hatchery?

I have six EE's, five layed between 22-24 weeks, the other one, which I was convinced was some kind of weird rooster, because she did not lay forever, layed at 40 weeks.

My EE's will be 20 weeks right at Christmas. Should we definately NOT expect any eggs from them????

Our other one started around 19 weeks and is a fairly regular layer. They could be laying by Christmas, but EEs can be late bloomers.

Does anyone know why they ARE late bloomers???
