Anyone going to have eggs hatch in novemeber?

I had 4 babies hatch under my broody yesterday!! We've now got 40+ eggs to set in incubator today!! SO EXCITED to see all the different kinds! Some are copper marans some are olive eggers some are project to see what a bantam blue egg layer mixed with a full sized copper marnas will look like! So addicted to this fun!!

We had 11 chicks hatch 10 days ago and there is another batch in the incubator since Thursday. ;-)

The baby's are now in a large wood box in the garage with radiant heat and a lamp. They are doing great!

I also need to find someone that has green/blue eggs that are fertile for sale cheap. Because I want some green/blue egg layers and so does my mom.
If you lived closer to me I would give you a dozen!
I am putting my eggs on lockdown tomorrow. It is only day 17 but I have to work day shift on Wednesday so I want the temp regulated before I have to leave my babies alone. Candeled my eggs yesterday and they are looking great!
One of the white eggs. Look at those veins! Day 15

Another white egg. I could see lots of movement. :) Day 15

This is a very dark Marans egg. I could see movement so I know its viable. Look at that pretty air cell, dipping down and getting ready for that baby. :) Day 15

Ok I have hatched quite a few chicks in November but here is my favorite. She's a blue easter egger.

Her mom is an americauna splash. I was thrilled when researching genetics someone told me and was right that all her babies will hatch blue since dad is a black Orphington (orph doesn't really matter just the black). I've been selling my easter egger chicks but I might have to keep her. She sure is a cutie.

Having mixed emotions here at my house. On thanksgiving evening one of my friends died :( But tonight and tomorrow are hatch day. So it is keeping my mind pretty busy and off of the sadness.
Sorry about your friend. I know my hatching chicks really helps me keep busy and takes my mind off things I don't want to dwell on. Hopefully your chickies will start popping out. The hatching to me is amazing. My first hatch I stayed up for close to 3 days straight to look and watch. I'm a little better now that I've got a few under my belt but I still love it.

Oh i've been incubating eggs since I was a child. When I was a child it was a lightbulb with a metal tube (hole cut in it for lightbulb to go in) and a board on top. LOL One egg at a time.
As a teenager I saved up and bought an incubator when I moved my brother helped clean out where i was living and tossed my incubator that was still in perfect condition. :( egg turner as well. My husband bought me a new one last month for my brothers x-mas present LOL

This hatch I'm hoping for some to hatch. On lockdown (thanksgiving) only 5 were kicking. *sigh* they were packed real good in my opinion, But the mailman was a jerk. I've ordered eggs other times and got them in perfect condition.
None of the blue eggs had movement inside which is sad my 2 year old nephew was looking forward to having a green egg layer.

Hatch number two this month.. and second hatch that we have ever done. First hatch was 100% hatch rate (only 4 eggs). This hatch is another 4 eggs and they went into lockdown yesterday. So far we have one that has started to pip through already!! Today is only day 19 so we were not expecting anything for the next few days. We are shooting for another 100% hatch!! We have 25 more eggs in the incubator with different lockdown dates and so far have not had to throw out any eggs for issues prior to lockdown. They all look great and all have movement!

Mine are due today they looked good like that (some of them anyway) But I think a few might just be late bloomers. hoping anyway. If they aren't out by friday they are getting candled and possibly tossed. if there is movement i'll leave them in with new eggs I just paid for/ordered from someone on here. :) Hoping to be woke up tonight with some eggs hatching. Is it weird that i'm hoping for stormy weather? lol i have a faster hatch when it's stormy out
well luckily tomorrow i have a physical therapy appointment to keep my mind off my eggs.
