ETA: And I highly doubt adding a little color caused this baby to pip at the wrong end. That is my main concern at this point, not what color he/she will hatch out. I have 3 kids and it was an expirement we wanted to try. They are learning about how a chick develops. Why does this always have to be a debate? I can see how people are against selling colored chicks to idiots who don't know how to care for them but I've owned chickens for years and I don't plan on giving these guys away, much less selling them for a profit.
