Our EE, Oiseau, gifted us with this beauty...next to our already large eggs from out other gals it looks like a duck egg. She got lots of BOS's that day. Weight 3.73 ounces! or 104.5 gms (for our fellow Canadians).
Can you top this

Looks like that would hurt!!!

My hubby was convinced that it had to be a record of some sort. We found out the world record is 180 grams! I can't imagine the poor chicken who laid that as our egg was big enough!
It has been in the fridge for the past week. Tomorrow our granddaughter is coming for a sleep over so we will crack it for breakfast when she is here. I think it is going to be a double yolker...hubby is hanging on to it just being an amazing egg. We'll see soon!

My Plymouth Rock had this egg almost 2 months ago and hasn't had one since! She's only one year old and was a great layer before this, she is acting like her happy usual self, just no eggs!

Interesting....mine has not laid since either....Not that I blame the poor babies. I think that would equate to giving birth to a 15lb baby for us humans!

Hubby cooked ours for breakfast the other day and it was a double yolker with huge yolks!
