Trying to figure out what type of ducklings they had at my TSC.
Couple of the smaller ones looked like mallards but were a bluish color

I think some blue/black swedish.
And then the bigger yellow ones which are pekins I believe.

They had some differen't colors ones which were hard to decribe... Had like a greyish body with the top of it's head dark brown?

no clue

So down to the point Anyone got pictures of the ducklings they got from their TSC this year? If I could figure the breeds out I might be able to get 2 or 3.

Thanks so much

Hmm... Must be them! Look exactly like a regular mallard duckling (even smaller than the pekin ducklings) except with the bluish/gray instead of the brown... Might have to pick up a couple then!

Might not be able to get there til this weekend.

Any idea on how to sex them when their young? I was told the males kinda of squeak and the females have more of a quack?

The voices sound the same for the first few weeks- it not until they are at least three weeks or so old before you can start to hear changes. Vent sexing is the most accurate way at day old- but you really need to know what you are doing so you dont injure the duckling.
