Anyone had a chicken get stuck on its back??

If it’s always in the same spot is there a way to discourage him from attempting to bathe there? maybe the soil is a different softness that makes getting up difficult???
That would make sense. Could this be it? Maybe is is getting stuck, and then this is happening? https://biology.stackexchange.com/q...kens-not-try-to-get-up-if-laid-on-their-backs
This may be a bit extreme but it is one of the few topics I have found that are like this. https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...s-gets-stuck-on-its-back-please-help.1131034/
I honestly have no idea! @Eggcessive @Wyorp Rock @Overo Mare Any ideas?

Different spots, I tried throwing some dirt over any bathing holes so they were flattened but he is still getting stuck.

My chickens are always fine to get up if they are on their backs. I had to put one on her back once to take some photos for BYC. She sat there for a few minutes, playing dead as it is a reflex, but she got up just fine :)
That is what I am wondering. If he is getting on his back, then panicking and going into chicken hypnosis or playing dead. Next time, watch him and see if he gets up or come out of hypnosis in a few minutes. That would make he most sense.
