Anyone had this happen?

I have 3 hens that are laying. 1 white cochin mix, 1 black cochin, and 1 australorp. All three birds are 1.5 years old so I know age isn't an issue. The cochins both went broody and I let one hatch eggs and I got the other sitting on silkie eggs. My dilemma is that the australorp, who was a very frequent layer saw that she was the only one still laying eggs and decided to halt production. She is not broody I've tested it. Is there any way to fix this?

Time will fix it. After 1.5 years of laying she is just taking a break. Not at all unusual. She may very well molt before starting another laying cycle.

I'm hoping she doesn't molt. Ive never had one molt this early.

Had a buff do the exact same thing...lasted about two weeks, she wouldn't lay eggs or sleep with the other hens, then all the sudden she went back to her old routine like nothing happened...just give her time
