Anyone has composted Chicken manure waste?

Absolutely! I compost my chicken manure with straw and/or shavings and eggshells. It makes for a great soil additive for tomatoes and other garden vegetables. I don't think you need a fancy tumbler or device unless you have very limited space. I keep three piles of different ages in a corner of my garden and turn them over with a pitchfork every couple weeks.
how long will it take to get well-fermented compost?

G'Day from down under Olivia :frow Welcome!

I have two compost bins going, the full one 'cooks' while the other one is getting topped up.

I toss in the girls left over watermelon husks, kitchen 'green' scraps, garden prunings and rakings [dead leaves] etc and of course, the morning collection of overnight chicken poop; works well for my garden.
Teila, thank you for sharing your ideas.

it works great. how long it takes depends on the composter/method. the fastest approach is an insulated composter like the Joraform composter tumbler https://www.hayneedle.com/product/j...MIzeHCgJC02gIVFv5kCh0IHAIdEAQYASABEgLBxPD_BwE. by turning it regularly you keep it oxygenated which keeps the best microbes going, resulting in the best compost. the added heat of a controlled compost method ensures the weed seeds from yard waste are killed... very helpful for gardening! the process takes about 3-4 weeks in the above composter. in a compost pile, it takes much longer and turning it is much harder.

Hiya and :welcome!
I'm totally for manure composting. I've got a massive drying pile comprising of both the manure & soiled wood shavings, and I also don't hesitate to throw any of organic waste material from the kitchen on there. Turn over thoroughly once or twice a month, and you're already on your way to success. :) Only thing that's necessary when using poop is that it's sufficiently aged before distributing it. Fresh droppings can easily kill vulnerable plants.
Be advised, though, there are rules governing such "waste" piles that differentiate from township to township. A compost bin is also much more ideal and appealing for many people.
