Anyone hatching 20th or 21st? Hatch with me!!!

I've got 36 chicken eggs and 6 guinea eggs in mine, the chicks should be the 20th or 21sr, got the hatcher up and running for transfer later today. I only candled 3 eggs, one was clear the other 2 dark, couldn't see anything moving but my flashlight is wimpy so I'm just letting them go and hoping.

I am the same way. i am having trouble candling b/c either the flash light is too big and the light is going all around the egg instead of illuminating the egg or i cant get enough light into it. so i am just hoping i have good eggs. i also have been scared to touch or move the eggs to much. but they will be coming out of the turner tonight. what should i put the humidity at? what about the temp? i have a lg still air bator.

I have 10 Welsummer eggs and 4 Blue and Blue Wheaton Ameraucana eggs set for hatch on the 21st. I did candle only a couple of these eggs and they looked great. First time I haven't candled all of them to measure progress. Hope it turns out!

I also have another 12 Welsummer's & 4 Ameraucana and 4 misc. eggs due to hatch on June 2nd.

After the next hatch is done I am not hatching out any more Welsummer's this summer, but may continue hatching some Ameraucana's. Time will tell...... the DT's of hatching are quite strong.

Almost forgot the 5 Coturnix Quail eggs set to hatch on the 29th. I still don't know how I let myself get talked into these! What will I do with Quail?

I have a silky hen setting on 10 silky eggs due to hatch on the 21st. I plan to take the babies and raise them since the hen is my aunts. None of my hens were broody so had to borrow one from her.

I am taking my eggs off the turner Tuesday, May 19! I am so excited to see my new babies!

I have some Australorps I bought from someone on BYC and several from my own in the bator. When I candled, 10 were growing well and moving. So I hope all 10 will hatch!!

I forgot to add that I have a cochin hen sitting on three eggs in the coop. She started sitting a day after I set my incubator eggs, so they should hatch a few days after mine.

I'm trying that dry incubating that's in the sticky thread at the beginning of this section,

https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=113681&p=3

I had a lousy hatch the last time adding water the incubator, etc so I'm following the link above.

I've heard still air bators are supposed to be around 101? it's somewhere on this board. I've got a fan so it's set at 100.

Hope this helps.

Well DH and I just moved 24 of the 36 chicken eggs to the hatcher. the other 12 were very clear, the 24 were dark, couldn't see any movement, but like I said my flashlight isn't that great. Could really see right through the clear ones though.
