I have a pip! I can't believe it, I am on day 20 with 5 polish. This is my first hatch and I was sure none would even make it this far.... keeping my fingers crossed. Before lockdown, I had 5 out of 12 looking good and dark with nice air bubbles. This is too stressful!!!!!

First baby pics of the Belgian D'Anvers-so far both porcelains and one mille fleur have hatched. I don't know what I'd do without my DH.

You are lucky with your DH...he really stepped up to the plate!

Sweet babies! Mille Fleur....that is what my DGD and I want a small flock of. Neighbor down the road has some and when this hatch is over I am going down to visit and hope I come back with a few eggs!

Can't wait to see all the babies out and fluffed!

These are mille fleur color D'Anvers, as opposed to Mille Fleur D'Uccles. Very rare birds and I'm lucky to have them. I have a trio of Mille Fleur D'Uccles currently, but they will be going to live with a friend next month. They're really cute, but I like clean legged birds and love the rose combs of the D'Anvers, too. The two breeds are related. If you want the D'Anvers, contact Boggy Bottom Bantams--he has unusual colors that you'll love!

We like the feathered feet at our house! Please post pictures of your hatch. This has been so much fun.....and my poor FB when mine start hatching!!! It will never be the same.

I have promised my DGD a trio of bantams. We are taking our time and finding what we really want first!

I have D'Uccles 2 millie and 2 porcelain. 1 pipped and 2 more zipping. These little buggers are hard to catch hatching, one minute just pipped u walk away next thing u know their out out. Nothing from my Marans, its only day 20.

Isn't it great that there is a chicken variety for everyone? So many choices! I have a few with feathered feet, my two Brahmas, the D'Uccle trio and one lone banty Cochin, but I'm just partial to the clean legged ones.

kingsfarm, good luck!
