did you calibrate the hygrometers?

i did but i did ad 2 more sponges cause it was old 50% humidity
would 50% be okay for the lockdown?

Removed a BR and a SLW, both quitters. That still leaves me with 62 eggs. There were a few of the BBS Rocks that are alive, but highly underdeveloped for going into Day 13, so I plan to recandle those closer to Day 18. They'll either catch up or quit.

I think that's a little too high for humidity too. Did you candle them before you went in to lock down? They should have well developed air cells by day 18, they will need them to be able to start breathing during the hatch cycle.

I candled all the eggs in the incubator last night. There are 28 and all of them have veins!

Some of them I just wasn't sure if I could see what I needed to or not. But in others I could see little wings and beaks.

I really want an SLW hen but those eggs look the worst of the bunch.

congrats suechick!!!!! i just candled today(day 12) and have 16 that look really good and i see veins and movement (wow) and 4 that look good but are so dark it's hard to tell for sure. YAY!!!!!! i'm so excited. c'mon little chickies hatch already!!! can you tell it's my first time
