Anyone hatching April 5-7 or so? ALL DONE, READY TO BE LOCKED

Locked down last night around this time yesterday and less they 24 hours later have 2 millies hatched and 4 more pipped. Also 5 BCM (one looked alittle ifie) I really don't expect them till Wednesday. I'm just figuring out the Marans hatching thing out. They keep getting better, or maybe I'm getting better,(since someone suggested I read the directions on the incubator on the humidity thing)since then my hatches have been decent. 3 weeks ago I hatched Peachicks Blue Marans got 5 out of the 9 that went into lockdown, the most Marans I've ever hatched. Boy oh boy are these Millies vocal. Hope everyone has a great hatch. Good Luck

Heinz 57 pups 9 of them!!! not sure but our vet said they healthy and did shots and wormings they about 5/6 weeks we are keeping them for a few weeks but sent out an sos to our friends and have already got homes lined up for them!

have three pips so far but the others are chirping up a storm lol not to mention doing the pippin' chicken dance lol

i doubt i will get mutch sleep i'll be going through to check on them constantly

Anyway, only two more days for my lock down! Hope I can figure this out so I can post pics of my babies.

My peeps are due to see daylite for the first time on Friday 4/8, out of 12 shipped eggs set in incubator, one was clear at first candling and discarded. When i candled yesterday one has stopped developing, but all the rest seem to be progressing ok. Im keeping my fingers crossed because these eggs were $90 included shipping. Silver laced Brahmas, wish me luck. TOM P.S. I wish everyone with eggs in the incubator a healthy good hatch. T

Well I candled tonight. 1 baby is alive and moving in the egg, thats it. Removed 2 more that were for sure gonners, they started to form but just never finished. The other 2 I have because I think I just can't imagine that poor little egg being the only one to hatch. So 3 eggs in the bator, going into lockdown in the morning. I pray that I have at least one or I think my son will be broken hearted!

My incubators decided to do their job and my shipped eggs have decided to develop. I have not been over 50% hatch rate ever! And most of the time I get 25-30 %. I decided to try dry incubation method... I have no clue what I'm going to do. I started with 68 eggs and i have only thrown 9 out. What the heck am I going to do if all 59 eggs hatch, like.it looks like they are going to do

Congratulations Chevgrl! What humidity did you incubate at? And what do you think is the secret?

Anyone else stuck staring at eggs tonight?

I feel so trapped and wish something would happen.

Honestly I have no clue what the secrets is. The humidity has been around 35-40% one day for some reason it got down to 25% and i put about. 2tbs of warm water in. What's weird is I am usually really careful with my temp but my LG still air (back up incubator) has been fluctuating between 99.5 and 101.5
Normally id be thrilled I figured when i candled today while "locking down" that I'd be throwing alot out. But when I candled most of my...? We're even developed.
Now I have aprox. A month to figure out where they are all gunna go! I guess it's an excuse to build onto my Coop! Bureau
