I know a few may disagree..but so far, I have found that to be the best way yet for me. The little tail feathers start early too.

I'm so excited. I found someone in California that raises Nankins. I ordered some! Guess they are really low in numbers globally. One of the oldest little bantams known. I love getting rare breeds to help keep them going. Have a friend that can help with them too if they hatch well.
I remember when BC Marans were rare. Favorells (spelling) were rare..not sure these are considered rare any longer?
Oh well, here I go again, more little ones to worry over.

The ones that I am getting on Sat. that we are going to start another thread on, are, Wheaten Ameraucanas. I am picking them up here in state. But if this guy gets these Nankins out today or tomorrow, I will be watching them around the same time. Excited for them!

I'm so excited im getting some Blue copper marans eggs!

i've never owned a maran!

You will love owning a Maran..they are pretty. That black with the red going down the neck into the black..and then those cute little fuzzy feet to go along with those cute fuzzy butts. Wait, one Maran? Ok, to go along with one cute fuzzy butt.

What you are smelling is chlorine gas. According to the guy from the health department it is the gas not the liquid bleach is what kills the germs and bacteria. The good thing is that it dissipates quickly. I am fairly certain that you won't smell it by tomorrow if you leave it heated up, but I would wait until you don't smell it to put eggs in.

My little still air LG pulled through for me. 100% hatch rate... Although, I broke an egg during lockdown... Sadly, it almost killed the little chick.. So, I helped it out. Now it is merely a waiting game...
