Anyone hatching April 5-7 or so? ALL DONE, READY TO BE LOCKED

update on the silkie hatch out of 30 eggs 11 hatched on day 21, 2 hatched with help on day 22 ( shrink wrapped) and 1 just hatched on day 24 we are now on day 25 do you think it is ok to toss the remaining eggs could anything hatch this far out?

Well suechick I'll try. I have several ee's and bbs marans crossed w ee's and bcm's a bsl and some bbs marans but I don't know which are which. The 2 chipmunky ones are for sure EE and some others are puffy cheeked and have green legs. Otherwise I have no idea. I may post pics on the what breed/gender when they get a bit bigger

I only have a postage stamp in the city too. I just had so much fun hatching I had to do it again. I'll only be able to keep 4-5 hens. I do have people that will take the xtras so that helps.

It sure is fun! I have a hard time doing or thinking about anything else when hatching and taking care of chicks. I'm SO distracted. I think my family wants my time back, they haven't had a decent meal in I don't know how long. lol

I do LOVE hatching eggs though. I've thought about offering egg hatching service for folks who don't want to do it for themselves. Has anyone ever heard of that? If I could get paid to do it and someone else took care of the chicks when they arrived that would be ideal!!
