Anyone hatching around July 7th and 12th?

When I first saw the reading at 134 I figured that the thermometer was broken, by the time I set about actively letting it cool and figuring out what the heck had gone wrong it was 123, found the unplugged fans and fixed it and sat staring at a bator full of what had to be dead eggs.

Well, one made is still trying. I will not cry like a silly idiot. But I'm darn grateful.

Nothing yet. I hear peeps, but don't see any pips. I helped out the one that started last night, because the membranes were all dry. I don't know whether he'll make it - he looks pretty weak.

Kismet, the last two that hatched I had to help also, They pipped early this morning and then nothing all day. When I checked they were very faintly peeping and I thought they weren't going to make it. I just helped with the shell and wrapped them in wet papertowel and misted them a little so they wouldn't dry out. I am not sure if they will make it, they seem to be getting stronger so I am

I ended up with 11 out of 14 that hatched. I don't hold much hope for the other three. I candled and didn't see any movement but I will leave them in for a couple more days.

Keeping my

for all of your hatches...

I had my thermometer go crazy today and my temp dropped VERY low... I'm just hoping that I caught it in time to save my eggs. Tomorrow is day 21...

The little one I helped is walking all over the place yelling up a storm. He has a patch of blue shell stuck on his butt, but we'll take care of that later. Two more have hatched and I see four more pips.

I wonder what I shall awake to.

Thanks for all your support!!!

He made it! I eventually checked the other eggs, most obviously died the day of the disaster. One of the survivors of that tried to come out through his own umbilical cord and drowned in blood, and another had died before even pipping the membrane. Still one made it, that has to be some kind of miracle all by itself. But I don't have any chicks his age... Right now he's "talking" to a beanie babie polar bear.

I'll have to find him a couple room mates. The silkies and sizzles aren't due for days.

I am glad your hatch is going well.

I didn't think the two little ones I helped yesterday were gonna make it either but they are up and running all over the place now.
To top things off, I had a Light Brahma and Cochin hatch last night that aren't due until tomorrow

WWD, I am sorry the others didn't make it. Sending hugs your way. I think Miracle is a good name for the one little one that did make it.
