Can silkies be feather sexed on the first three days? Just wondering! I feather sexed mine and they all look like pullets

I sex mine too! I pick it up look it square in the eye and say "you WILL be a pullet!" Time will tell if my method works!

I think my method is better

I also bribe them. I tell them all the goodies they will be getting if they are girls!

I purchased 2 frizzles this past weekend, and these poor birds must not have ever seen treats. I gave them fresh greens yesterday and they didn't know to eat them. My flock devours them in seconds. I also gave them left over cake, same thing, it just sat there. Poor neglected birds, they have fell into the lap of luxury and don't even know it yet!

I am with bikerchic that is how I do mine.
I have tried to feather sex and I might have had couple right but nothing to write home about.
So for me no it did not work. cj
