I now have 9 fuzzies in the brooder, 2 resting in the bator, and 1 possibly trying to get out. 1 showgirl is out

Had a tragedy last night,

came home and it was already dark and my chickens were making a whole lot of noise when they are usually roosting, so I went to check it out and somehow a chicken hawk got into my coop and killed my blue silkie!!! Very upsetting, I guess I am lucky it only got 1 as I have 14 chickens. We looked around and can't figure out how in the world it got in there!!! RIP Blue!

Thanks, no it's not, now my silkie flock is down to 3, as soon as I get my bator I'm ordering some more silkie eggs!

that's the weird thing, I let them free range every afternoon just about and have never had anything bother them, and it's really bothering me that I can't figure out how it got in there because I don't want it to happen again.
