Set 18 mixed flock eggs (Ameraucana Roo over Buff Orpington, Barred Rock and Black Sex Link hens) in my Lyon TX-7 on 11/25.
Candled on 11/29. Two clears, down to 16 potentials.
Had temp drop to 98 though do to cold front coming in. Hope they are not affected negatively.

Bikerchic is correct. Figure if your temp drops it will delay your hatch and if it spikes it can cause your chicks to hatch early. I tell people don't worry or panic with either just be prepared for either ending. A byc member has some of my eggs in the bator and it spikes quite high are a few hours or unknown hours if I remember correctly and she still
hatched eggs out. Granted she lost some but many did hatch. Many people would have paniced and tossed the eggs thinking they were fried but hang in there as those little
chicks are stronger than we give them credit for.

Love your calendar! My bantam eggs are set to hatch on December 6th! I'm a little mad at myself for hatching this time of year....I'm in Ohio and the cold winter weather is just starting.....Oh well! I bought the eggs, now I've gotta hatch them! LOL
Saturday is the big day.....setting up for lockdown after work........
