!!! I have one more piece of fencing to get up and the run will be secure

! I had three eggs of CJ's beauties going last week but only ended up with one! One piped through a vein and did not make it and the third one had a detached air cell from the post guy's rough treatment and did not hatch! I'm working on 50 so the run roof has been really hard on my arthritis! When I come in from the effort all I can manage is supper and sleep

I can't fuss too much . . . .he did make me a breeding pen this past weekend. As soon as we get all the neighborhood over to carry the heavy thing I will post a pick. He did an awesome job, it has 4 separate breeding pens with nesting boxes off the back. I told him I was going to paint a sign to hang on it and call it the "love shack" . So I won't fuss about him "much" anymore.

I put a swing in my run for my chicks like Fireguy's

Now I have swinging chicks

If you go to Youtube and search for mrfireguy56 you can see his hens a swinging

Yesterday when I was working on my run one of my silver cuckoo marans jumped up all by itself on to the swing

I think my sweety thinks I'm a little cuckoo though

Melissa, my husband is going to want your name and number!! I want a swing now! I just watched the video. I WILL be putting those in this weekend. I think that's a project I can do without his help (I hope!). I have plenty of wood laying around. Now to get some rope and the eye bolts, I think I can, I think I can!!

Wow yall have alot of eggs going, how exciting!!!

Still waiting on my bonus to get a new bator, hopefully the LG will have a better turn out this time,

so far I've only had to toss 2 of my speckled sussex, go in lock down tomorrow!!

Mellissa-I can't wait to see that coop, you have been working hard on that for a while!! Glad to see you back though!!

Can't wait to see the swing too!!! Bet they love it!

Bikerchik-I can't wait to see the breeding coop your hubs built, that's exactly what I want to keep my breeds seperate, because no we have them all together so when we want to start collecting eggs to incubate, we have 1 small coop in a fenced in area, we have to move them over there then wait 21 days to make sure the other Roo's aren't in her so they aren't mixed bred, then start collecting, it takes WAYYYY too long that waym

That is an awesome idea!!!! Rotating so they get out and having thm seperate, I have to see pics of this, I am so jealous!!!
