Hey got my Sassy eggs yesterday..nestled under 5 broodies and got Elites eggs today. Woo hoo..

Well we have 9 babies and 3 in the bator, just in case, but I don't think they will hatch. My little sickly girl is still around. I bought the polyvisol and I'm giving her a drop a day. While I was getting her ready, I put her in a small plastic bowl in the brooder with the rest and she went crazy...she wanted out....! so I gave her some water with an eyedropper and one vitamin dose and put her in with all the rest....I was surprised they didn't pick on her (much)...she just wanted to snuggle up. Today she is mostly fluffed out, but still doesn't walk, she scoots, so I'm hoping she will perk up...can't bear the thought of having to cull her and could not use an axe at all..... anyone ever put one in the freezer? I know it sounds gross.... but hubby says we aren't going to keep her if she doesn't respond...btw he can't cull her either.....

I posted this to the New Years Day hatch along thread but I thought everyone here might get a kick out of these too

You can do these deviled as well and use capers or green onions or pickle bits for the eyes. The beak is carrot and the comb is red pepper
