Melissa, you are so sweet! I love the splash Marans. I have a dozen Blue & Splash Marans from Bargain in the bator for the NYD hatch. I hope I get a nice roo or two. Now I have 4 sad splash hens.

It is so frustrating when you have eggs that are supposed to be hatching.... and nothing is going on. The new silkie chick is very vocal, it wants the others to get busy. Very cute. I'll post pics later.

more room for all the ones I'm hatching. I just counted peeps and I have 31 silkies all under 5 weeks. Opps! And 1 lone cochin that is 2 days old. I am peep poor.

I just received the most wonderful assortment of Orpingtons from Nellie - Rockinpaint

16 Blue orps 5 Lavender Orps and 5 Lemon Cuckoo Orps

The postal people held them hostage for 6 days but here is hoping they are still good

The eggs from rockingpaints are suppose to ship out on the 27th. I'm hoping the Christmas rush is over and the PO will be really nice to my package

Hey guys...yes still following y'all and watching your wonderful hatches...I have 2 ameraucanas from Rockinpaints as well and they are big babies and I love them to bits... You can't go wrong with any of her eggs...they were always awesome and had great hatches...

Melissa your post office is not very good to you...they always come broken or are held up? What is wrong with them? Living in the city you'd think our post would be very indifferent but all my shipped eggs have come quickly and perfectly safe...and my post lady always looks out for them...although a few boxes have said...'call for pick up' ..they never do!

I am pleased to see that some people are also hatching some of Bargin eggs...Nancy's silkies I have are 2 month old and are turning out very nice...

Now when I buy eggs I ask them to put hold at PO for pickup and my ph#. Nellie shipped these on Mon and I just received them on Sat. late so here is hoping

The tracking never showed when they arrived in SA so we couldn't pick them up. Nellie has generously offered to replace them if they don't incubate well though

Buying Eggs from people like Nancy, Nellie , Glenda and Deb is certainly worth the money

Their ethics are above reproach

But you can see her cheeks and beard are just so very awesome
