Yeah that worked!!! So here is the egg that is a SLOW hatcher... Its been 19 hours since I saw a crack in the shell .... The hole got bigger this morning but not much has happened in the last 5 hours!!! Should I be worried? I guess if no more progress has been made by the time I get home from work I should try and help it??? I can see the beak ... it is free and clear so the chick is breathing okay.....

i just purchased a hovabater 1602N it doesn't have circulated air, i did get the turner. do i need to worry about the air not circulating? i have ordered eggs and would like to set it within the next few days. thanks

You'll get different opinions, but if it were my egg, I would take it into the bathroom while running a hot shower and pick the shell back very slowly with sterilized tweezers. Some people are against helping, but to me if it's been that way for hours, it's trying to zip and it's stuck. That is a really big hole. Too much for a pip.

Miss you too, yea I noticed things on byc slowed down after the conversion, I think alot of people must have used there phone during the day. That does suck! Can't wait to see pics of that new bator!

I suspect an intervention is in your future. If you come home one day to find a bunch of friends and family vehicles at your house unexpectedly.... RUN!

ok so if I help it I have to open the incubator.... I have eggs that haven't hatched yet!!! What do I do??? The humidity is running high at about 79% with the plug out..... will a quick grab of the egg hurt the others???
