If you hand turn I would always turn that one last incase of bacteria
Thanks! Luckily I have an autoturner and tomorrow they go into lockdown so I won't have to touch them too much, I will just make sure that that egg always gets handled last. Good advice.
Since my rotten egg experience I have also taken up the habit of using hand sanitizer between each egg I touch just to be safe. Yep, I think it's safe to say that I have scrubbed off at least 2 layers of skin by now, lol.
Sometimes I wonder where kids get these ideas from. That was about all the excitement I could handle in one evening!

When I was a small child my Dad had a huge tropical fish tank and my older brother (6) thought he would help out our Dad who was Stationed Overseas by making the "smelly" Fish tank smell better by dumping my Mom's talc and perfume into it

I hope the egg swim didn't harm the egg! Keep us updated!

Oh!!!
How Sweet!!!!
Congrats on your new baby!!
I want a broody too!!!!!
I've been told with our little quail that the male will take his lady little treats instead of eat them himself. I can't wait to see that!
Thats what roos do too, if they find a good bug, they make this noise and all the hens come running, whoever gets there first usually gets it, except one of my roos has a favorite hen I swear because he will hold it in his mouth until that one gets there,
I love my chicklets and could spend all day watching their antics and fun. A Momma with her babies must be just a wonderful joy
I agree.
I'm so hoping to get a broody hen out of these Sizzle eggs!
That way my husband won't see the incubator come out!
LOL.
I was late for work today because I was watching peep tv! It is facinating watching mama and the babies. I can predict I will not get anything accomplished this weekend
I also drive the guys I work with crazy talking chicken all the time. This is what they do the minute I turn my back . . .

that's why I am on here so much during the day, so I talk to you guys and try not to drive the guys in my office nuts, they still have to hear about it but this helps some,
