Anyone hatching on 20/21st August?

Your very welcome Lizzie . I took two eggs out yesterday (day 15) one was empty and the other had a faint odour. still not sure on 2 out of the 10 left but other eight are all black barring the air cell, as for the other bator day 8 all light eggs going great just wish i could see into the blue and dark brown ones.

10 day count down ..... the three in the bator are wriggling like maniacs!!

Just starting day 10 here. I candled last night and have to pull 4 quitters. I'm bummed that 2 of them are my EE's blue eggs, but since 5 of the 6 I put in spent at least some time in the frig I'm not too surprised. The 11 eggs left are looking good, good veining and plenty of wiggling embryos. At least I know that my boys are doing their job since all 15 started to develop, no clears in the bunch.

How's everyone else's doing?

I candled mine last night. Had 16 in there and 3 were still clear...2 silver leghorns and 1 buttercup but they were shipped eggs so no complaints

1 silver leghorn has just one little vein that could be seen so it's in there and I'm hoping.

My Jersey Giants are DTH next Tuesday and they are all looking good.
Then a breather for a few days until the 26th and already all of those veins are growing...9 Golden Lakenvelders and 7 EE's
My last ones-15- Buff Rocks,5-Frizzles and 7 EE's are due the 28th but haven't taken a peek yet-may tonight

Hopefully more babies than I can count soon.I'm already feeding 100 pounds of baby food a week

I candled last night too. Out of the original dozen of BR I threw away 2. Definitely have 6 developing and 4 more are inconclusive, just couldn't see well enough through the shell.

We have lockdown on the 6 Welsummer eggs in the bator and 2 under the silkie! due the 17th...

HELP!! I don't know what to do. my BCM were supposed to hatch on 11/12 and they didn't . I had 4 out of 7 that looked good. I could see them move. They are still moving real slow like in slow motion. You really have to watch close but I can see them slightly move. I haven't opened the bator , but I see no pips. I'm so afraid they will die. I just don't know what to do. this is day 24. Shouldn't they be doing something? What's the longest I should wait? I've heard BCM can be hard to hatch,but what's the longest a chick can live inside the egg? Someone please help.

I have eggs that were due to hatch today. 6 have hatched so far starting yesterday morning and the last of the 6 this morning. I have 6 eggs remaining that have not pipped. When I candled I saw chickens moving on day 18 in all of the 12 eggs that I had. Should I crack them open?
