I have some due on March 25 in the bator; trying another fertility test after some butt-fluff trimming on the Blue Orpingtons.

I know my black silkie girls eggs are fertile but my white hen is with a new roo so this will be a first for me on her eggs in testing fertility

I HAVE A BATCH OF SERAMAS DUE ON THE 22ND, AND A MIXED BATCH OF RED COCHINS AND GIANT BUTLER QUIAL DUE AROUND THE 28TH WHICH IS MY BIRTHDAY!

If the Good Lord's willing and the creek don't rise,....and the bator don't fail, I will be hatching on the 27th.

I put 7 fresh eggs in and then put in some refrigerated eggs as an experiment to see if it will work......some say they will, some say they won't.....

My last hatch was 85%....hope this one is better!

good luck everyone I just can't wait till sunday to candle and. When my duck eggs get here. It will be a staggered hatch but people say it can be done. So I have my fingers crossed.

The 27th here... I have 36 eggs for my friend in there. White leghorns and white leghorn x rir.

We're set to hatch on the 28th if all goes well. We did nine bantam
Partridge Rock eggs for my daughter's 4-H project in our ugly but effective homebuilt.

Anyway, I have 14 Jersey Giant eggs in blue, splash & blacks I believe from Big Blue. I also have my own Silkie/Cochin cross eggs & this is a fertility test hatch. They are due to hatch on March 29th!
